If you are thinking about a holiday in the beautiful Lot department of France, then you might like to stay in the tranquil grounds of our home, the “Mas des Roses”, an old farmhouse (“Mas”) dating from the seventeenth century, set in two hectares of farm and woodland.
We have two gites: Camelia (Gite 1) and Lavendel (Gite 2). Both have been renovated to a high standard (with well equipped modern kitchens, large living rooms opening onto private terraces, two bedrooms and a modern bathroom each), but retain much of their original rustic character.
The two gites are separate from the main house, set next door to each other in a converted outbuilding. They both overlook a large, private, orchard garden with a shared swimming pool.
The garden has plenty of space for sporty types, with bowls, badminton, table-tennis and swimming all possible, or you might just prefer to find yourself a quiet corner and relax in the sun (or shade).
The gites are adjacent to a network of rural pathways where you can walk or cycle without bumping into another soul for hours on end, and only 2 km from our local village, Mauroux (see http://www.mauroux46.fr for more information). Here you will find a local shop (incorporating a boulangerie/cafe), hairdressers, library and post office. Our village restaurant is 1.5km outside the village on the road to puy l'eveque.
Anyway, click on the tabs above for plenty of photos and information on what we have to offer, and we look forward to welcoming you here soon!
